Light Reading Webinar: Ethernet Service Management Print E-mail
Written by Eric Heitz
Friday, 25 May 2012 08:09

Light Reading will be conducting a live webinar on "Ethernet Service Management."

When:  Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 @ 8am PST.

As advertised by Light Reading the webinar will discuss how "Business customers are accustomed to seeing how their data services are performing and if their SLAs are being met. When they move to Carrier Ethernet, they bring those expectations with them, but service providers haven’t always been able to give them that same level of service. New Ethernet OAM tools promise greater visibility about service performance on an end-to-end basis, giving savvy service providers a way of differentiating their Carrier Ethernet services in a competitive market. This webinar will provide a real world update on these new tools and explain the underlying standards, including overview of key OAM standards such as IEEE 802.1ag, ITU Y.1731, Y.1564 and MEF 17." This event is sponsored by Accedian Networks, Overture, and RAD Data Communications.  Register here
