Call to Order: 11:30 AM

Approval of December minutes: Approved

Treasurer’s Report: Account is balanced through December 2009. Approved

Old business:
1. Website: There is a small increase in traffic as a result of sending out newsletter/headlines and “Unique” users have doubled. We are redirecting Free industry WEBINARS and that has helped contribute to this increase. Organic words and phrases have helped our site gain search advantages at no cost to the Chapter.
2. Training – Bob Angelastro is working with Barry Eagan to do a GO95 Seminar around late February or early March 2010. Also Bob will look into the possibility of Sunrise to do the seminar they did for the Golden Gate Chapter. The newly elected board members will take up the 2010 schedule at the next Board meeting.
3. Certification Rewards – There was a motion to apply the incentive reward to Stewart Kidd as follows: Reimbursement of test fees, pay for next years SCTE member dues and award a $100.00 AMEX gift card this motion was approved. We will look into a presentation to Stewart at the local Vendor show.
4. News Letter – As stated previously, we are now using “Headlines” and sending out emails with a link back to our website.
5. Local Vendors Day – Wednesday June 2nd is golf at Teal Bend Golf Course. The vendor show will be Thursday June 3rd at the Radisson Hotel on Leisure Lane. Sacramento. We are estimating upwards of 50 vendors. The show rate is $119.00. Please make your reservations as soon as possible and mention the SCTE for the rate. Mike Soloman will be setting up a pre-show lunch meeting at the hotel to go over details. Bob Angelastro is heading up a committee to lock down trainers for the show seminars. The goal is to get 4 different training seminars (2 in am / 2 in pm). As soon as confirmed the information needs to be put on the web site. Lunch will be provided at the show and Mike Soloman will take care of pastries for the morning of the show.
6. NorCal Vendors Day – March 23 – 25. Mike Milligan is heading up a list to secure 12 people to work the registration desk at the show. Email Steve Bradley if you would like to participate in the Thursday 8 am weekly conference call. The chapter will pay for one night for those working the desk.
7. Board Election – The new Sierra Board Officers are as follows: President Bob Angelastro; VP Steve Bradley; Treasure Mike Morris; Secretary Earl Killingsworth
8. Strategic Plan – The 2010 Strategic Plan was approved and will be taken up by the new Board Members.
9. 2010 Budget – Approved
10. New Business – Eric Heitz was nominated by Steve Bradley for Chapter member of the year for his dedication and work on the web site. It was motioned and approved to give $250.00 to help start the newly forming ArkLaTx chapter.
