SCTE Foundation awards grant to J.Trajeco |

Jerry Trajeco is a member of your local SCTE Sierra Chapter. Driven to expand his knowledge on network infrastructure technology Jerry is working toward a CCNA Certification. Although CCNA is a badge of merit from networking giant Cisco Systems the SCTE offers the training programs to acquire a CCNA certification at competitive pricing. Seeking to defer the costs of his quest toward a CCNA Jerry applied for a grant with the SCTE Foundation and has been awarded financial support to pay for the CCNA. Congratulations to Jerry for using his SCTE membership to successfully win an SCTE Foundation Grant. In addition to the SCTE Foundation the three Northern California SCTE Chapters (Central, Golden Gate, and Sierra) offer a certification incentive program to their SCTE members who want to obtain an SCTE Certification (BPI, BPT, BPE, BDS, BTS, BTCS, DVEP, and IPEP). |

Yesterday, some 52 members of our chapter received Return Path Training. The instructor was Juan Castro of JDSU. Juan, skillfully presented two sessions (AM and PM) at three hours a piece. If you were unable to attend this training seminar Juan has provided supplemental materials related to the material covered in this course.
